The Just City: Making the Invisible Visible

Ken Snyder, CEO of PlaceMatters, gives a brief overview of how interactive technologies can be used to boost civic engagement. He introduces one example, the Open Street Map platform, which is currently mapping a large slum in Kibera, Naroibi, which can empower local community members to participate in the planning and implementation of improvements to the area.
